Brian Buckley
With a distinguished career spanning law enforcement, security management, and legal practice, Brian Buckley has made a lasting impact on public safety and national security. As a former Special Agent with the FBI, he was pivotal in drafting influential legislation, including "The Aircraft Safety Act" and sections of the Patriot Act. His leadership extends to overseeing high-profile investigations, such as the Iran Contra affair and the largest antitrust case in U.S. history involving Archer Daniels Midland. Brian also played a key role in establishing the Terrorist Tip Line after September 11, 2001.
As Terrorism Training Manager at the California Intelligence Center, Brian Buckley developed and delivered specialized training to law enforcement agencies across federal, state, and local levels, focusing on identifying and mitigating terrorist threats. His tenure as Director of Security at the University of California Davis saw him spearhead the consolidation of physical security and implementing new safety policies for the university’s campuses and medical center.
Brian holds a Juris Doctorate from Ohio Northern University, where he excelled in Criminal Law and Legal Research and Writing. He is licensed to practice law in Ohio, Connecticut, South Carolina, and the District of Columbia.
